A System of Logic, Ratiocinative and Inductive

This work presents a systematic integration of existing ideas on intellectual operations, ratiocination, and induction rather than a fundamentally new theory of logic. It harmonizes discordant speculative theories and connects detached fragments of the subject to improve the methods of philosophizing. The text also examines the nature and functions of the syllogism while addressing names, propositions, and the principles of scientific inquiry.
