āThatās what I call bouncing,ā said Eeyore. āTaking people by surprise. Very unpleasant habit. I donāt mind Tigger being in the Forest,ā he went on, ābecause itās a large Forest, and thereās plenty of room to bounce in it. But I donāt see why he should come into my little corner of it, and bounce there. It isnāt as if there was anything very wonderful about my little corner. Of course for people who like cold, wet, ugly bits it is something rather special, but otherwise itās just a corner, and if anybody feels bouncyā āā
āI didnāt bounce, I coughed,ā said Tigger crossly.
āBouncy or coffy, itās all the same at the bottom of the river.ā
āWell,ā said Rabbit, āall I can say isā āwell, hereās Christopher Robin, so he can say it.ā
