тАЬWho did you think it was?тАЭ

тАЬWell, I wasnтАЩt sure. You know how it is in the Forest. One canтАЩt have anybody coming into oneтАЩs house. One has to be careful . What about a mouthful of something?тАЭ

Pooh always liked a little something at eleven oтАЩclock in the morning, and he was very glad to see Rabbit getting out the plates and mugs; and when Rabbit said, тАЬHoney or condensed milk with your bread?тАЭ he was so excited that he said, тАЬBoth,тАЭ and then, so as not to seem greedy, he added, тАЬBut donтАЩt bother about the bread, please.тАЭ And for a long time after that he said nothingтБатАКтБатАж until at last, humming to himself in a rather sticky voice, he got up, shook Rabbit lovingly by the paw, and said that he must be going on.

тАЬMust you?тАЭ said Rabbit politely.

тАЬWell,тАЭ said Pooh, тАЬI could stay a little longer if itтБатАФif youтБатАФтАЭ and he tried very hard to look in the direction of the larder.

тАЬAs a matter of fact,тАЭ said Rabbit, тАЬI was going out myself directly.тАЭ

тАЬOh, well, then, IтАЩll be going on. Goodbye.тАЭ

тАЬWell, goodbye, if youтАЩre sure you wonтАЩt have any more.тАЭ

тАЬ Is there any more?тАЭ asked Pooh quickly.

Rabbit took the covers off the dishes, and said, тАЬNo, there wasnтАЩt.тАЭ

тАЬI thought not,тАЭ said Pooh, nodding to himself. тАЬWell, goodbye. I must be going on.тАЭ

So he started to climb out of the hole. He pulled with his front paws, and pushed with his back paws, and in a little while his nose was out in the open againтБатАКтБатАж and then his earsтБатАКтБатАж and then his front pawsтБатАКтБатАж and then his shouldersтБатАКтБатАж and thenтБатАФ

тАЬOh, help!тАЭ said Pooh. тАЬIтАЩd better go back.тАЭ

тАЬOh, bother!тАЭ said Pooh. тАЬI shall have to go on.тАЭ

тАЬI canтАЩt do either!тАЭ said Pooh. тАЬOh, help and bother!тАЭ
